“This is the underdog of all instruments. And it's the instrument of peace. Because if everyone played the ukulele, this world would be a much happier place.”
Why music
Music opens hearts – and helps us see reality from that open place.
It instantly connects us with a truth we tend to forget: that we are all connected.
That being said, music needs to be in service to do so. So I put mine to work.
What I do
I play the ukulele and sing in public places to collect money – for one humanity purpose at a time.
Every coin and every note collected goes to the charity or organisation I play for on that day. That can be an organisation in service of democracy, of children, of care, or of our climate.
All donations are managed via betterplace.org, so it is fully transparent what happens with your money – every euro, every step of the way.
